I normally don’t post vulture culture stuff to main, but I wanted to show off the metal ass coloring on my new doe skull. I mean look at that! It’s caused by algae growing in the tub it was in and will come off with peroxid, but I ALMOST want to keep it like this because it looks so cool.
EDIT: the coloring faded and it no longer looks like this! It just looks like a normal greasy deer skull now, and is being cleaned up
Found a poor buck on the side of the road who had his antlers sawed off. Decided to collect his heart and am going to prep it for sale soon.

Does anyone have any tips for de-fleshing a de.er skull? I was forcefully removed from my house for a period of a few months, and while I'd asked my mother to put it in my maceration tub she decided to be lazy and just leave it out in the sun for around half a year. So now I have a mostly preserved de.er head. As in the whole thing from the neck up, he's just missing an ear. A beautiful rack. But no matter what I seem to do I just cannot seem to get rid of any of the flesh and I don't want any of the dogs in the neighborhood to carry him off. I'm weary about digging in to remove most of his flesh with my scalpel and forceps because last time this happened, I got a lovely explosion of mag.gots all over my porch.
