:D I do love that line because I’m a rural chick on a back road and I can picture that, but damn, it did sound like backhoe. A certain percentage of what we hear is interpretation apparently, so I’ll chalk it up to me being construction-site minded that day.

You know what though? That’s exactly what the OP did in that post and the first respondent still decided to stick herself and her issues right into the OP’s own narrative. I mean, if we’re going to talk about respect, that’s a problem. 

In fact, the whole post is about how queer (and queer community) is not synonymous with the LGBTAI+ community, how it has specific origins, how it is a community term for specific communities, how if it’s not a term you want applied to you then it doesn’t apply to you, and yet that whole discussion gets maybe a cursory read before the issue is brought back, yet again, to ‘don’t use it for me.’
