->Daredevil & Daredevil: Born Again.
Matt Murdock and Karen Page ❤️
Gifs By @kdheaven + unknown creators (please DM if you’re the creator of others). Thanks for your work 🩵🙏🏻
Matt and Karen in Born Again are literally everything I wanted them to be from the original show: honest, supportive, unbearably in love. the fact that they actually work as partners??? flabbergasting. revolutionary. And ohhh I am Missing Nelson, Murdock, and Page with my whole soul 😭.
Season 2 of DDBA feels like someone took the giggly romance of season 2 and the insane detective-partner chemistry of season 3 (Which I've been always praying for 🤓) and mashed them together into something personally designed to destroy me. I am sat. I am seated. And I am all in. Karedevil nation we have never been more alive🙏🏻
every time Matthew Murdock takes off his glasses because he's comfortable enough to do that around someone, an angel gains their wings.
THEY 😩😪🖤❤️
whenever i see people making theories about ways that foggy might be alive and might come back in ddba s2 i get really sad because i imagine matt thinking the same things. matt wracking his brain trying to come up with ways that foggy might still be alive or ways that foggy might be brought back. because even though he pretends his grief is lessening and now he doesn't cry at the mention of his former best friend, he's still rapid-cycling through the stages of grief, only ever reaching acceptance for a transient period of time. he's going about his life the best he can without foggy but sometimes he can't help but be kept up at night with "what if" after "what if" becoming a mantra in his mind

One of the things that makes Dex and matt such a fascinating combination to me is the psychological aspect of it.
Dex is clinically insane but needs something or some ONE to cling to and fixate on to keep him stable, and Matt is a catholic who grew up being taught everyone can be saved, and believes in repentance.
Matt already has something to fixate on and base his thoughts and beliefs on, and thats God. With Julie gone Dex is a loose cannon.
Considering their circumstances, Dex having killed Foggy, it gets a little rocky considering Matts insistence on retribution, but Dex wants to be saved so bad. So bad that when Vanessa came to him with a job, when he was already getting better, he crumpled for her nonetheless.
He NEEDS someone. A north star.
Maybe that will be Matt…
Frank: Nothin in this world a good cup of coffee can't fix, u want a cup?
Karen: uh, no. Thank you.
Matt: *standing in between them looking at them back and forth* um, anyways, I'll have a cup! Also I'm an oatmilk kind of bitch!💅✨️🤙🤭
There was this routine things in Netflix's Daredevil series: a funeral scene in the final episode for each season.
Season 1 for Ben Urich.
Season 2 for Electra Natchios.
Season 3 for Paul Lantom.
In every funeral scene there was a little talking or speech, basically the very summary for the whole season.
Ben Urich was a friend and a good man, so this was when Daredevil first lost someone not so close to him but kinda make him understood his mission as Daredevil.
Electra Natchios was maybe the first woman he fell in love with, and this was the second time he lost her. I like the talk between Matt and Stick in the cemetery, when Stick asked him did he love her, and was it worth. Matt gave the reason and answered yes for twice. That was the best ending I could ever think of when losing someone significant in life.
Paul Lantom was one of the guardians for young Matt and who knew his other life as Daredevil. He was like a father to him in many means. One of the main issues in people's life is to surmount their elders, sometimes combined with a vicious fight, but for Father Lantom this wasn't the case. He led the road and didn't cross the line to force Matt into any lane, but set him free.
I also like Stick much though I know many don't. Maybe just because I find myself in him so I understand many of his actions. Stick didn't have a funeral, I was upset about that; but people like him who treated himself as a weapon wouldn't want a funeral anyway.
And then in Daredevil: Born Again, Franklin Percy Nelson.
He was one of the most important person in Matt's both life. Matt found himself very much because Foggy shaped him this way. They found themselves in each other, and shared a deep bond as friends. They were not alike in any way but supported the other to be whole. Much like a soul mate.
When Matt lost Foggy, this was when him started to getting insane somehow, and the wound in his soul would never heal.
So this was the idea I got from the original series.
Even though there's not a funeral scene for Foggy in DDBA (yet), Matt might have chances visited the grave to memorize him or just found some peace in a peaceful place (alone).
Here's when Frank might find him.
The flowers are Geraniums. I'm not familiar with flowers but Google tells me the language of it means true friendship and "it's good to have you in life".
Thank you for the patience for this and I hope you enjoy it☺️
