in the month of May, there were a little over a million notes tagged with Eurovision and 333,000 searches for Eurovision and over 90% of those numbers were over the weekend of Eurovision!

Hello Lauren and Cher, a Finnish listener here! Thanks for the Eurovision episode, it sure is a week-long regional Tumblr holiday. It was great to hear your enthusiasm over Käärijä. Here in Finland, the whole country basically went bananas over him, people dressing their kids and dogs in green puffy boleros, as well as the famous landmark statues in Helsinki getting those too. Regarding Käärijä and Bojan friendship, I think they just became good friends during the contest and posted about it in their social media?? And everyone was just obsessed with it. Also I want to share that there was some high drama after the contest because some big Swedish newspaper wrote about Finns being super petty because we were the only country that didn't give Sweden any audience points 🤷
