DcxBnha: I just had the Mother of all ideas:
Hawks and Dabi are Batman and Joker's counterparts.
The only differences are that Bruce is Bat themed and Keigo is Hawk themed, that and Keigo is being abused. That and Dabi is saner than Joker. Like, even Canon!Dabi is saner than Joker.
Hawks and Dabi wind up in the DC universe one day and the DC people IMMEDIATELY clock them as Alternate Batman and Joker from their face and body shape. Luckily, Keigo looks a little different from Bruce Wayne and Batman's identity is safe. But people still know that Hawks is a Hawk themed Batman.
The thing that's throwing people off is that alternate!Joker is SANE?!

Or at least saner than Joker.
How can they tell? Alternate!Batman is still trying to appeal to alternate!Joker's humanity.
Don't get them wrong, they are THANKFUL they don't have to deal with TWO Jokers. But it's still a TRIP to think about. Witnessing a relatively SANE Joker.
