                                    does he even know what is he looking for  ?      between her lessons  ,   between protecting the reality  ,   he pours himself into the mystic arts .     maybe he simply knows something she doesn’t   ;    or ,  maybe there are still unanswered questions he wants to find  .     it’s difficult to say  ,   when he keeps himself relatively . . .  guarded  .    though  ,   wanda thinks she has been allowed to see more than most would have  .     it’s partially why she’s so concerned .   

❝        it’s getting late  .              ❞     she reminds him  ,   brow knitted together as she watches him meditate  .   only  ,   what she sees is far from relaxation in the lines of his shoulders  .    something is bothering him ,   but wanda can’t begin to guess what it might be ,   in the entire multi - verse .          ❝       even the sorcerer supreme needs to sleep at night  .        ❞      the faint tease in her voice isn’t enough to make the genuine worry laced in.       ❝                        don’t make me make you.         ❞     

 wanda reaches out  ,   having grown quite comfortable in this space they exist in  .    she brushes away some dust that settled onto the cape from their recent excursion  ,   mindful of the life it has.           ❝       do you vvant to know vvhat i think of you now?          ❞    

                    apprehension  filled  the  stone’s  eyes.  they  weren’t  afraid  of  being  hurt  ---  they  were  durable  thanks  to  their  sheer  amount  of  power.  they  were  more  worried  about  their  power,  &  how  it  would  affect  the  sorcerer.  he  was,  after  all,  only  human.  ❛   are  you  quite  sure  we  can  do  this ? ❜
