Name: zeRo. Age: Estimated to be around 12-13 (An emulation of human age) Date of birth: Unknown. Blood type: Unknown but rumored to be AB (Set as data in the computer) Birthplace: Technically she can be said to have three birthplaces: Born along the other Zoe and Zack: I still gotta set that @@’ Rebuilt by G.G.: Memory space of the ultra computer "Nikoponia". Restore / purification attempt: Memory space of the ultra computer “Amabilis” (Or “Saint Anne”) Race: Started as a Zoe (Dancing education program), was rebuilt as a virus, is now a not fully recovered Zoe program with currently no defined function / duty / purpose. Height: 137cm / 4.5ft (Estimated). Weight: 30kg / 66lbs (Estimated).
Abilities: Virus: As a virus, the altered Zoe became much more powerful than a normal Zoe. With the Zoe’s natural and impressive strength and flexibility, zeRo can attack with varies kinds of kicks and cause some great wreck and devastating damage with her legs. She can also as attack as defend with the blades she has in her “ears” / sides of her face, shoulders and face. It’s said she’s capable of harshly intimidating opponents with the way she may look at them, causing them to flinch and even get their attacks to drop in power. Thanks to her sharp eyes (Or “eye” in singular, since only one of them is seen, while the other is covered XD)
Not fully recovered Zoe: With still some traits from when she was a virus since fully recovering her back to a Zoe is far impossible, she got some differentiated moves from regular / normal Zoe. With the Zoe’s natural and impressive strength and flexibility, zeRo can attack with varies kinds of kicks and cause some great wreck and devastating damage with her legs. She can also as attack as defend with the blades she has, despite there not having many of them now, though she still has some in her “ears” / sides of her face, and shoulders. Since she went through several changes, mutations, and rebuilding, she developed immunity against viruses and corruption, so viruses and corruptors can’t do anything against her. It’s said she’s capable of harshly intimidating opponents with the way she may look at them and give them the sensation they’re facing someone that just broke free from a straitjacket, causing them to flinch and even get their attacks to drop in power. Thanks to her sharp eyes.
Special abilities: Virus: With her arms covered by a inoffensive-looking and uncommonly long pair of sleeves that are also linked to her brain / nervous system, she can make them go underground and emerge right below the opponent’s feet and catch them off-guard, with the end of her sleeve taking shape of a mouth with fangs for a short moment, the damage can be drastic. Those sleeves can also wrap and squeeze the opponent like a snake would, or wrap the opponent’s neck and strangle them, though there is the possibility she can do several things with those sleeves. zeRo also is doted with great defense, thanks to the fact she has lots of pointy and sharp features, pretty much with the possibility of being actually blades, in her shoulders, face, and sides of head / “ears”. Direct attacks in her around the head may cause the opponent to harm themselves in the process. So, the best advice if her head is the target, is to attack with projectiles.
Not fully recovered Zoe: Her sleeves are somehow linked to her brain / nervous system, so they can have some bit of movement according to her needs. Though the most known move is where zeRo makes them go underground like a worm digging and go below the ground and then get out at her foe and attack them by surprise with the sleeves’ end have a fast shape of a mouth with fangs and effectuate a crushing bite. It’s a good way to attack from a big distance. She can also make the sleeves move and wrap her foe and squeeze them like a snake would, or just wrap their necks and suffocate / strangle them. Well, she can make varies moves with her sleeves, so it’s hard to know what she’ll do. Hint, be very careful with her sleeves.
Weakness: Since her sleeves are linked to her brain/nervous system, hitting and/or attacking her in the head may disable her sleeves for a short period of time (Though in her virus self, this should be done with projectile attacks only if the opponent doesn’t want to harm themselves in her blades). Her biggest weakness is that after being freed from her virus nature, she had no hands neither arms (D.C. should be thankful she does have arms, even if mechanic and “mean-looking”), though the way her sleeves are designed and put visually make up this a bit. So her capacities are somewhat pretty more limited, but she doesn’t seem bothered by it, and seems to have gotten used to it very well already. Also, much of her original data, coding and core couldn’t be recovered, her function of dancing Zoe neither her memories from when she was a Zoe could be recovered, either. Basically she thinks she was born a virus since the beginning, and doesn’t dance either.
Infos: -The shape of her “clothes”, the way her hair / bangs are slightly messed and her somehow sharp eyes can remind of someone crazy / insane who just broke free from a straitjacket. She is sane, however. This crazy tone is just in looks. -She’s a “physical deficient” (No arms or hands). -She’s rarely seen affected, surprised or amazed emotionally, so most of the time she’s somewhat blank, but yet not really emotionless. -Due to all the changes she went through, she developed immunity against any affliction caused by viruses and corruptors, so those kinds of digital beings basically can’t lay a scratch on her. -She was slightly based off the pokémon Banette, and also Bisharp. -Every digital being as programs have a function and/or a purpose. Since she can’t dance as a Zoe which was her original purpose, neither wreck cyberspace as a virus which was her new function, she’s currently looking for a new function she could do. -Even as a virus, zeRo still had much courtesy. She would pretty much introduce herself, ask the opponent’s name, explain her causes, and such, even right before a battle.
Story: Upon a hack attack made by Galaxy Gang, to steal as much Zoe and Zack as they could, a single Zoe was stolen because the hacking was noticed and fought back, forcing Galaxy Gang to get away with the only Zoe they managed to steal. In the grasps of Waruyama and his evil organization, confined in their ultra computer of “Nikoponia”, that poor Zoe was reprogrammed and rebuilt as a very strong virus (A “super virus” even, maybe), taking her identity as the good dancing education program Zoe basically to dead pixels… Now, she was zeRo the Virus (No, there is no mistake in her name, it’s indeed with small “z” and capital “r”). With no recordation neither memories from her “past life”, she became Galaxy Gang’s new minion, though she didn’t seem to hold anything personal bad neither good for anyone of the organization, not even Waruyama. Just give her what to do as a virus and she does it. Nothing else. Her main duty wasn’t destroy Pulseman, though, it was actually her “second duty”. The first one was destroy any kind of protection programs that cross her path, even anti-viruses, cause as many damage to selected networks as she could and wreck them, specially networks like the ones of military or industry systems, to break their defenses down and disable them to do much, and let them extremely vulnerable to get hacked by Galaxy Gang or even get the control over their systems taken over by the organization. zeRo was also orientated to destroy anyone that crosses her path that could delay or stop her if they try to do so. Though she doesn’t bother with who are unable of stopping her and are weaker, or are not interested in facing her. She’ll rather leave those alone. One day, Lisa Hatfield broadcasted about industries and military suffering constant hackings, attacks and digital damage in their network and in some cases even losing control over their systems to the hackers and culprits. The responsibility seemed to belong to a newly developed virus, or maybe it was even a “super virus”, and that not even anti-viruses could stop it. Breatrice tracked the military system that was suffering damage at that exact moment, which turned out to be in the system of the Military Service of Brazil, thus warning and orientating Pulseman from the bridge of the list computer (Stage select, lol). Inside the network of the Brazilian Military Service, Pulseman (Though, for some reason, Kiyoko and Astral D.C. went with him, probably to aid the damaged ones) found its depths critically damaged and defense programs totally scrapped and fallen around. Upon going the way to the core of the network, he of course had to destroy some Ratt and other little Galaxy Gang minions in the path. At the core system he ended up kind of bumping into some female-looking digital individual. She first apologized and stood still but then asked him “Are you Pulseman?”, upon his affirmative reply, she completed “I see. My name is zeRo. Look, I have nothing against you, but I have to fight you. It’s one of my duties, my purposes.”, thus starting a battle with him, and making him realize she was that destructive virus that was causing such havoc. zeRo’s attacks composed mostly of using the blades she had around her body, and her arms, which could dig under the ground like a worm and surprise him by emerging basically right under his feet, and they were too fast for him to move or to perform an attack, so he could only dash through it. They could also immobilize and squeeze him almost as if he was being wrapped by a snake. However, if he was charged and/or tried using a Flash arrow even if this was uncharged, the sleeves would let go of him and zeRo would somewhat twitch slightly, as if something was hitting her brain. On few moments zeRo would try attacking him with kicks with her strong but delicate-looking legs, but he could easily dodge them, but if he didn’t she would most likely send him flying. But she wouldn’t use kicks at all, she seemed a but wore out for wrecking everything, so she would rather fight in one place with her blades and arms, apparently G.G. was making her overwork, burning her stamina down. During several moments in the battle, zeRo would get the opportunity to attack Kiyoko and/or D.C., who were aiding the scrapped programs, but would just leave them alone with either them “not being necessary to be harmed” or that “they weren’t included in her duties”. After a time battling, Pulseman noticed a pattern on zeRo: Everytime she used the sleeves, while her arms were digging, she would stay still and put in a vulnerable position until she could pull her arms out of the ground. So, whenever he could get the chance, he would dash through the emerging sleeves and go forward to attack her with a charged Flash Arrow, inflicting her damage. In one of those, he attacked her in the head, and, for some reason, her sleeves got somewhat still and limp, as if disabled, though only for a short period of time, but also he harmed himself in the process too, soon figuring, that the features around her head are really pointy and sharp, like blades. Then he linked the disabled sleeves to whenever she would twitch everytime he attacked the sleeves instead and realized they must be somehow linked to her brain. Knowing he apparently found a weakness, Pulseman would dash through the emerging sleeves and attack her in the head with a charged Flash Arrow so he wouldn’t have to attack her directly and harm himself too again, thus giving him a chance of attacking her once more. Pulseman didn’t really defeat zeRo, but took her down enough so she wouldn’t have any more chance of defeating him if she insisted, plus, she was already a bit tired even before battling him. But before the battle could keep going, she simply stood still and told him with every word that she didn’t want to fight him anymore, because she was already feeling really sore and drained, because she knew she would lose to him, and also because she never held anything against him, like she left clear before the battle. She told him she was wrecking everything and tried to destroy him because it was what Waruyama told her to do so, because it was the purpose given to her as a virus. She highlighted that every digital being exists for a purpose, and that was hers. “I understand that you see us viruses as vicious and ebil destructives, but we do what we do because this is the purpose given to us when we were created. You know… I never asked to be born a virus, but… I guess that’s just how things are supposed to work…”. Hearing zeRo’s words, Kiyoko commented that it looks like zeRo isn’t bad at all, she was only following orders. But zeRo hadn’t finished yet, “…Also, soon or later, we viruses always end up failing in some way or other… So, I guess the mutual purpose of us viruses is to follow our purposes, to then fail at the end. So, If I have to fail… Let it be now.” With that, zeRo surprised Pulseman by staying still and in the focus of his sight telling him to finish her. But before he could accept or refuse her “suicidal” request, the whole place started to shake violently… That network was so damaged it couldn’t stand anymore and was now collapsing! Pulseman knew he should get himself, Kiyoko and D.C. out of there quickly. zeRo offered aid by showing him the closest backdoor that would lead them to out of that network, since she was there long enough to learn the place’s shape. With that, Pulseman, zeRo, Kiyoko, D.C. and some defense programs the two kids aided made it before the system crashed with them. Phew, close call. With them all safe and sound, zeRo reminded Pulseman of her request, but of course, he refused to destroy her. She insisted because it was how it was supposed to work. However, he refused again and told her that if she could think by herself she could very well choose her own purpose without the influence of Waruyama. She found that hard, because she was already born a virus, even if she didn’t ask for it… In that, one of the aided programs, apparently a scanning program, interrupted, saying that before zeRo had knocked him out, he had scanned her, and found virus data AND non-virus data on her, actually making her an “half-virus”, kinda like Pulseman being half human/C-Life. Also, the program could see that those non-virus data actually had previous backup, meaning they were there before the virus data, leaving the theory she was something else before being a virus. Even though agreeing with that theory since it did make sense, zeRo had no clue of whatever she was before being a virus and doesn’t have any memory from it either, no wonder she always thought she was already born a virus. Upon questioning in what the existence of non-virus data in her coding would change at all, Pulseman gets a call from Beatrice through his watch, suggesting that if the non-virus data has backup, they could try to restore her to whatever program she was before being a virus, thus freeing her from her virus nature. Seeing it as worth trying, Pulseman invited zeRo to follow him and the two kids to Amabilis where they would try to restore her with her non-virus data and their backups. zeRo accepted it, slightly confused, though. Apparently her courtesy prevented her from refusing an invitation, and also she decided to give it a chance, she had nothing to lose anyway. In the memory space of the ultra computer “Amabilis”, the restoration took place. It was quite successful. However, the non-virus data and their backup was insufficient for a total restoring, and the virus data, despite being removed, seemed to have left some of its traits on zeRo. Due to this, zeRo no longer had arms or hands, though she still had the sleeves like how they used to be. She lost most of her blades, revealing her face more, and more traits change. Apparently even with restoring her back to who she was is far impossible, she was satisfied with the result, and didn’t even seem bothered by her now lack of arms and hands, since her sleeves were still linked to her brain / nervous system, she could stick with them. She thanked Pulseman, Beatrice and the others from Amabilis for all what they did and that if they ever needed something from her that they shouldn’t hesitate to ask her, then leaving, starting a quest to find her new purpose. Since Waruyama and Galaxy Gang lost contact with zeRo ever since, they considered her as “destroyed probably by Pulseman”… Like all his other minions.
