I applied for the Disney College Program for the second time* on 1/25/2018 and immediately received an email for the web-based interview. At the completion of the web-based interview, I was considered a strong candidate and scheduled my phone interview for Feb. 6th at 7pm. My interviewer was super sweet, her name was Nina and she was a Florida native which is how she got her start in Disney. We talked about my Four High Interest positions -- Attractions, Character Attendant, Character Performer, and PhotoPass Photographer. Of course at the end of the interview I requested to be placed at Kilimanjaro Safaris in DAK if given the opportunity. I should hear back in March, but I am actually not that nervous about hearing back. I think I have a good shot considering I have theme park experience and have been accepted once before. I can go for my “audition” to be a character performer on March 3rd in NYC, so if anyone else is going, please reach out! *Some info on the first time around. I applied for Fall 2016 and was actually accepted into the DCP for Quick Service F&B and unfortunately had to decline their offer for personal and financial reasons.

A few months ago while we were waiting on the bus to leave Vista Way, I began chatting up this lovely Brit and we discovered our love for Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift (although she may be a tad bit more obsessed with the latter than I am 😂). From that night on, she became one of my absolute favorites on this program. She helped me through my roughest work nights, off days, and anxiety attacks after awful days. I'm ecstatic that you were with me during my very first flight, which was some kind of experience. I'm even happier that I was able to help your dream of finally seeing Nashville come true, even if we did freeze in the cold weather all weekend. It's been nothing but joy being around you these last few months and I'm going to miss you so much. But no tears!
