I don't even know who will read this, but I'll share a brief experience of my ballroom competition, DCDI 2014. (This is my Facebook status).
Had such an amazing time at DCDI!!! It was great watching everyone dance and looking all fancy again! I was really happy for how we did in Bronze. We made a few semi-finals and quarter-finals in rhythm and latin (I won't lie, I am a bit sad that we were the only couple cut during the Cha-Cha/Rumba semi rerun). But we did well in Standard somehow! We placed 5th in Waltz/Quickstep and 6th in Tango! Overall, I'm really happy with the experience! Thank you Krystle for being an amazing partner! And thanks to Delia and Laura for letting me lead y'all in 3-person tango and to Matthew for leading me in same-sex rumba. And of course, thanks to everyone who cheered me and Krystle on while we danced! I hope to have another amazing experience at OSB, where we will try some Bronze and Silver! Added part for tumblr people: I had to go through about 70 other couples to get the results I did, and I'm proud of that. :D
