THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD EPISODE

- Zarbuto, Zirloin and Rabranra transforming was both terrifying and hilarious. And props to them, at the last stretch, they pulled their weight.

- ALSO HEY THOSE TWO OKAMA THAT RIBRIANNE BLEW UP ARE OKAY. Can we please stop calling her scum of the earth and a cold blooded murderer now? She’s far from my favorite character but she’s really not that bad you guys.

- Saonel and Pirina may have not have been featured as much as I would’ve liked (or maybe should), but I rather like them. The fact that almost the entire U6 Namekian race sacrificed their individuality to help ensure the survival of their universe is... hardcore. I hope that once U6 is wished back, they have some way to bring back more of the Namekian population.

- I LOVE CAULIFLA SO MUCH. SHE’S SUCH A PUNK BUT SHE LOVES HER TEAMMATES GOOD GIRL.

- I never knew how much I loved the androids and Goku working together until this tournament. And then the Androids getting sucked into U2′s cheesiness is glorious. You just know this is how 17 and 18 play with their kids.

- I feel like this might be the best Gohan / Piccolo team up fight in the franchise so far. Come to think of it, these two haven’t really fought together as equals it seems. Usually what happens is the two are in a fight, Gohan gets threatened and then Piccolo jumps in and takes a hit for him. Seeing Piccolo and Gohan fighting as equals and Gohan protecting Piccolo for once is wonderful. I also like the subtle parallel Saonel and Pirina have going on- with them being an older and younger warrior pair and all.

- DANG IT VADOS DON’T BE SO COLD.

- zeno-sama is still too cute for me to hate i’m sorry

- And finally, the universe erasure. Dang this was a good scene. From the entirety of Universe 2 going out like CHAMPS. Seriously, the ENTIRE population of U2 knew they were getting erased, and yet there was no panicking, no chaos, no nothing, just pride in their own accomplishment. Say what you will about the U2 team (and I can say a lot), that is a heck of a way to go.

-And U6... I know people were expecting something super sad. I was expecting something super sad. But I think this ending was even better. There was a feeling of grim reservation, but also of hope, which makes sense. After all, the U6 team knows that if U7 wins, they’re getting wished back at least. And they know the power of U7 better than anyone in the tournament- they know U7 will prevail. In a sense, this Universal tournament was like a second round of the U6/U7 tournament. Them fighting against each other was just another excuse to continue their rivalry, and a promise that whoever wins will bring the other back.

That’s why I really love Champa’s last reaction before getting erased. It’s just so... him. He’s not going out in a grim, dramatic blaze of glory, he’s going out the same way he’s always been: a playful spaz. I also feel it perfectly communicates his trust in his twin brother. Of course, Beerus is still deeply troubled by Champa’s erasure, even if he won’t admit. Makes me wonder who that “Say something” was directed to: Champa or himself?

AND DON’T THINK I DIDN’T SEE THAT LAST LITTLE BOW THERE VADOS. She might be a troll until the end, but I do think she genuinely likes Champa. The U9 angel she is not. I do hope this means she’ll also be color commenting for U7 now though.

-ALSO VEGETA IS THE MOST UPSET OVER U6′S ERASURE. I know people have been saying Vegeta’s character has regressed for this tournament (and they may be right in some areas), but I think he’s been taking this Universal Survival Tournament more seriously than he’s been letting on. I think that’s why he’s avoided fighting anyone from U6 as much as he could.

I’m sorry I just... Vegeta fighting for someone other than himself still gives me so many feels.

Dragon Ball Super ep.118:

This episode was all about sibling love.

No. 17 and 18: how not to love them!? And look at Goku’s face...

Beerus and Champa are troublesome siblings but they’re still siblings. Beerus looked really sad when U6 was erased.

I just realized that Vados and Champa are quite alike. They both joke around to mask their feelings. Champa was a goofball till the end (at least say goodbye to your brother, you hurt our cat’s feelings!) and Vados did the same. Even if she seemed to be joking about being sad for their erasure, she probably actually was. I mean, who’s she gonna torment now?

Gohan and Piccolo also gave off a sibling vibe this episode. Great team work! 

I've been thinking that since the beginning...

But, they are WAY too calm about the prospect of their universes being erased. Like.... WAY too calm; even joking about it.

Now, we know they won't get erased too, but come on! You can't tell me that NONE of them are attached to their masters or universes. If we recall in the Goku Black saga, they apparently go insane when their masters are killed, so....????

I mean, I guess we can figure that it's not the same since they're technically not dying, but....naaaaah....

I can never get enough of him. Goku’s ok too.
