Connor struggled to find the correct response. The overstimulation of the party had left his mind feeling sluggish and faltering to catch up.
To help him along, the woman made her intent extra clear as she traced a slow finger along his jaw.
The whole range of emotions Connor had been given the room to develop wanted to burst loose. Especially anger. Rightful indignation. Disgust at this complete stranger, the insolence she felt so comfortable in showing towards him. Within barely a fraction of a second, he wanted to scream. Mostly because he knew otherwise he might start to cry.

It was bliss. The days were spent lazily together, completely at peace and forgetting everything else around them. While the night is when they would reach out and make love to each other until they are again greeted by the morning. Sated, warm, and happy. Nines couldn’t hope for more, he relished in it. Because he finally got what he wanted after all this time. His mate is beside him and living in complete harmony.
