They could potentially fuck up the “mom” aspect of Anna’s character, and at this point I’m almost expecting them to. 

I can see them making her into an emotionless sociopath. She kidnaps little girls, but not because she wants to nurture them with her twisted idea of love, but because she wants them as minions or something. Or maybe she wants to pit them against each other, or against wild animals, or the elements in some sort of "survival of the fittest" BS. 

I’m scared that they’re gonna make her be 100% cruel and uncaring toward the children she stole. I think it says in her backstory that she mourns when her “daughters” die, but things written into canon haven’t dissuaded the devs before.

I guess I’m just worried they're gonna eventually make all the killers into Michael Myers clones.

I always imagined Pre-Entity Herman as being very smart and in control of himself. He’s “crazy” the way a narcissistic sociopath is crazy, which is VERY different from the way someone suffering from psychosis is “crazy.” 

I feel like he’s in complete control of his actions, and knows exactly what he’s doing. It’s my headcanon that he doesn’t truly start losing his mind and having delusions until he snaps, murders everyone, and gets taken by the Entity.

His archive doesn’t portray him like this however. 

At the first chance he gets, Archive!Herman completely sabotages himself on impulse. You’d think someone with a genius-level understanding of psychology would be able identify and regulate their emotions better. He seems unfocused and unable to gauge what’s important. For example, this Herman seems to think it’s worth it to flush his entire career down the toilet for a chance to play Josef Mengele for 3 days.
