“‘M not sure about dis…”

“C’moooon, it’ll be great! It beats trying to talk to randoms right?”

“Yeah…”

“And it would easy if you just met someone you knew had thing in common, riiiiight?”

“Yeah…”

“Then you’ll be fine! I’m sure you’ll be gettin folks lining up to get a date with you!”

Rei’hua looked up from the paper his small goblin friend had given him. Dazzil had given him a dating questionnaire when the troll had mentioned he was feeling like trying to find a “special friend”. With the both of them sat in a quiet corner of the inn of Razor Hill, the troll had his nose down scanning over the text, his blue and purple mohawk threatening to brush against any who stood in front of him while his small shaman companion waited patiently with a smug looking grin plastered on his face. Needless to say the druid was struggling to fill out most the boxes. He already had the basic details written down; name, age, race, etc. But when it came to the more personal stuff he found he was having a hard time talking about himself. The best he could put in his interests was flowers.

Dazzil was trying his best to peek to no avail.

“Hhhhnnnmm…” Rei’hua was making strange noises again. Dazzil had come to learn that meant he was becoming very unsure of something.

“Just be honest. And it don’t have to be fancy or nothing, the company takes ‘em so no one dating you is really gonna see it.” Alas his words did little to comfort his now trembling friend.

“What… what if dey t’ink ‘m boring?” asked Rei’hua. His voice was shaky, anxiety seemed to be setting in again. Dazzil could only shrug.

“Well hey, it happens you know? People just have different ideas of boring or whatever. Not everyone, trust me,” he paused. “I think yer a cool guy.”

“Heh… thank ya, Dazzil,” the troll gave a small smile. He still looked worried but now he was feeling more motivated to give this whole thing a shot. Minutes would pass, and soon they turned into an hour of Rei’hua pausing to think over himself. He wanted to help people, yet trying to heal people out in the fields of battle proved difficult for the young troll, he instead helped by making medicines and brewing potions for those that needed them. He was a tall and lanky looking fella, but he wasn’t lacking for any strength. He would rather spend time in peaceful and lush jungles or forests than the hustle and bustle of the cities (Thunderbluff was an exception). Soon he found himself finishing the last of the trivial questions, and keeping vague or plain skipping the all too personal stuff.

“Uh, I t’ink I finished it!” the druid chirped happily, hold up the piece of paper. Dazzil, who had decided to take a nap, woke with a startle. With drowsiness still lingering over him he took the paper and made sure the details were in order, he nodded and gave his trademark grin to his friend.

“Good stuff, man! I’ll take it over to the right folks and they’ll let you know if you got a date,” said Dazzil, standing up. He told Rei’hua he’d be right back and waved a quick good-bye before running off, leaving the troll on his lonesome. Rei’hua thought over the past hour and smiled to himself.

Fishuli -

Answered already, it was his old crew clothes and weapons.

Rei’hua and Dazzil -

They’ve both don’t really have anything special but maybe in the future they will.

🌠- A time they wished upon a falling star

Fishuli -

Never has he wished upon a star, probably cause he’s a grouch or something.

Rei’hua -

He’s made plenty of wishes to stars, mostly for the health and good fortune for others. He just wants other’s to be happy.

Dazzil -

He did make a wish the one rare chance he saw a falling star to become rich and live in comfort. Hasn’t gone well for him so far.

12. How are they bodily expressive? How do they use nonverbal cues such as their posture, stance, eyes, eyebrows, mouths, and hands?

At his most normal, Fishuli is rather standard in gestures, minor hand movements, calm expression, etc. But with enough excitement (or booze) he becomes quite lively in mannerisms.

21. What kind of relationships do they tend to intentionally seek out versus actually cultivate? What kind of social contact do they prefer, and why?

Fishuli is one to go with the flow, he doesn’t actively seek out relationships but that hasn’t stopped him from getting to know a few people. He keeps to himself, but enjoys company for the sake of having others around.

27. What do they strongly like and dislike, in any category? Why?

Dazzil likes money, parties, hotties and at times peace and quiet. Dazzil dislikes gnomes that have henchmen with a penchant of mutilation... and weak alcohol.

38. Is there anything they wish they could change about their worldview or thought processes? What, and why?

At his current point in life he’s rather happy, although at times he wishes he can change the way he thinks of himself when he feels like he can’t help or is useless, he’d wanna be more positive and move on.

41. What associations do they bring to mind? Words or phrases, images, metaphors or motifs? Why?

When you running a dungeon at 6 then hitting the club at 7

 I’ll answer for both

Fishuli -

He doesn’t sing, he doesn’t have the best idea on what good singing is and just hums and whistles along. But if you get him wasted, expect some bad tone deaf screeching from him.

Dazzil -

He can be a jovial kind when it comes to singing... when he’s alone. He’s stage shy and gets all nervous. But when walking along he’ll usually be whistling a tune if he’s in a good mood.

I’ll answer for Fishuli and Dazzil

Fishuli - Reckless Attitude

He can regret some of his actions rather easily due to his recklessness. It was the cause of some of his greatest feats, but has also cause it’s fair share of problems. It’s aggravating for him as he tries to do his best to take small steps, but he will usually give in to temptation and run in head first.

Dazzil - Cut Ear

Dazzil’s run in with a man he shouldn’t have tried pick pocketing ended up costing him a large cut out of his ear. He hates looking at it as it’s a reminder of his dumbest mistake and the reason he had to run away from home. Plus it’s never fun when people ask and you tell them the truth, only for them to say back “You deserve it.”

18. Do they have a ‘type’?

“Naw, mon. Ah not gonna be picky about what mons I get wit’. Ah mo’ just get a good feelin’ about people, looks got nothin’ to do wit it fo’ de most part. Unless ya be a gnome...”

He’s seen a lot of types from a lot of people, and he’s just more of a “go with the flow” sort of guy.

29. How do they express their love to their partner?

Cooking, cause who doesn’t love a good meal? And if that doesn’t work then he’ll take them to their favorite place and go star gazing together.

1. Do they seek out love or let it find the? Are they even interested in romance?

“Weeeeeell kinda. But right now I’m too busy for romance, ya hear? But uh, if a gorgeous guy or gal fall into my arms, well maybe I can take a break from my busy schedule.”

2.  When they have a crush on someone, how do they let them know?

Dazzil, despite acting a big game, is too shy to actually approach his crush/es about how he feels. Maybe one day though.

22. Tell us about a sacrifice they made for their significant other.

“Hey I ain’t married! Jeez, you people gotta stop making assumptions...”

In all honesty, he’d put his life on the line if it came to that. Deep down, he’s scared to lose others and does what he can to be useful.
