To be or not to be entitled. Alright, I get it. You think that just because someone broke the rules, not everyone should have to suffer. I understand that point of view and at times, I myself am that way. Limited downloads are shitty at times, especially if the model is something you absolutely need. But the fact of the matter is, you are not the one who has to deal with the constant harassment from mmders who just simply do not give two shits about your feelings or how much time and effort youāve put into a model. Sure, itās annoying, but you donāt know them and people handle stresses differently. If youāre so mad about someone taking down a download, ask politely via note. If they donāt give it to you, tough luck and move on.
This is primarily difficult for model makers who have pushed years upon years of work and dedication into being able to make something viable to be downloaded by you. It is a damn fucking gift that they are considerate enough to give you something in which you are too damn entitled to understand. A modelerās work is their lifeline. Itās their blood. Itās a piece of their being. They spent a shit ton of time to make you something for FREE and you spit on them for it. For an example; the models made by Charii are probably one of the best on the market. And you wanna know how much that costed you to get it? Nothing. You didnāt have to pay a single penny, unless youāre idiotic enough to count your internet bill. Iām pretty fucking sure youād be pissed if you made something to the level of Chariiās work and it was blatantly stolen, ripped apart and destroyed by the kiddies of the MMDC. We are already distrusted enough, do we really need more people hating this community? Are you really that filthy of a human being?Ā We arenāt over-reacting when we do our best to see the good in the community and itās soiled. Itās tough enough that if you try to tell certain mmders that they arenāt allowed to do this and that, that they do the extreme and sayĀ āfuck youā and block you. But itās another thing to be insulted and belittled just because we decided we wanted to distribute our work between close friends or take down our work entirely. It is so. Messed. Up. Lets bring up SALangley and how he said it was aĀ āWaste of a modelā because SR wouldnāt give out her model that she worked on and poured her soul into. He then said that he wanted her to delete her content because heād downloaded all of it anyway as well as the things on her hard drive. Maybe this is why users are taking down their downloads? Maybe this is why the MMDC is so distrusted? Because itās full of underage assholes who know not how to be considerate on the internet. And sure. This is the internet, where people pirate and download content all the time. But if you download a song and you get caught, you can be fined or even jailed. Do you really want that? My advice is, stop being a prick and try building up the community instead of tear it down. -Mod Lat
