For one, JD is very dissident. Don’t know how any of you could’ve missed that. It’s quite literally one of the biggest details about his character.
For two, he decided to blow up a high school dance because his girlfriend wouldn’t abandon her conscience and keep murdering people with him. He was gonna shoot her. Like, multiple times. How are we lacking these fundamental media literacy skills?

He didn’t give a fuck about what Veronica wanted the entirety of both movie and musical. She didn’t want to kill all those people, he did. And he roped her into it by putting on his ‘emotionally damaged emo guy with mommy issues’ act, made her feel bad every time she tried to pull away, and again, tried to kill her.
Seriously people.
Don’t even get me started on the fem jd/fem jdronica thing. Like, you’ve gotta be kidding me.
