VN Review
Hello, Harley // Goddbye, Daydrinking is not for me. It's for Harley aka Lunaticker. It's a parasocial love letter, masturbation using someone's sleeping body. It felt like watching someone get taken advantage of and choosing to get the camera to film their bodies. I love the usage of bsky screenshots, of images with timestamps, of changing the speaker to who's words you're using. A fantastic use of the medium.
I really did enjoy this and I hope the author makes more.
Mini VN Review
"And Yet We're Here" I'm probably going to be reading a lot of the stuff from the daydrinking jam and I saw this so I read it! I liked the formatting of things, with text being indented and colored differently to show if it was happening in the real vs DMs. There's a lot of pain in loving someone so far away, someone who's not safe where they're at, at being unable to be by their side when they need it. Just a voice on a phone. I think this captures that very well. Love and pain at a distance. Very good and worth the read!
