Day 7: My first bronze in tamyiz
My daily, online Arabic class has this friendly competitions where the fastest to submit their assignments got a crown, the second a silver medal, and the third a bronze. After almost five months, I got my first bronze today hamdalah!
PS: Yes I’m number 10! Unless in The Umbrella Academy universe then I would LOVE to be their Number Eight - well, any number, really, so long as I’m in 😁

Day 7 of 100 days of self care.
Bussing home gives me a nice patch of down time after a busy day. I just get to listen to my music and flick through social media, reply to messages or just check out for a bit.
I don’t get outdoors as much as I used to. But when I was young, I felt happiest in nature. The woods especially. Fresh, clean air. That cushiony feel of the trail covered with layers of leaves in various stages of decay. Out here I had nothing to worry about; the stresses of home and school seemed to melt away. If I could anything I wanted, and had better knees, I would walk the Appalachian Trail.

Day7! Today was a planning day as I was at my boyfriends house and unable to train because of lack of gear. (👠Talking flats instead of running shoes👟) So while at work I set up a plan for running which is my far my biggest issue-I'm too slow. I want to go for the trifecta but I'm not going near the beast until I know I can run it. Maybe it sounds weird but I'm happy about my grades. It's a lot of work and sometimes I'm asking myself why I spend so much time with homework and learning and so less with living. But in the end I know it will be worth the stress. And I'm happy that if I can keep them good I'm able to make my dream come true and getting my dream job. // Day 007 of 100
