Sometimes I need to close my eyes, take a step back, then open them again to appreciate what’s around more deeply. I usually complain about how it’s hot and dry and yellow in SoCal and Chino especially (which it is). It wasn’t till I started taking a few pics a couple days ago for another friend who requested to see what our backyard was like that I realized our backyard is pretty green and ... pretty (though one disclaimer is that I didn’t bother taking pics of the mostly concrete areas, and the colors came out more saturated in some pictures than they looked in real life). Decided to come out on this slow morning to enjoy the view.
