Why do you have to start off letters like that? Anyway, hope my hand writing is readable...people here complain a lot but writing in English is difficult...I'm getting off topic sorry.

I wanted to wish you a happy birthday, so I hope this gets there in time. I thought a letter would feel more personal? I'll still phone you though...I'll try not to make it be five in the morning, though your tired voice is rather cute to listen to. I love you - and I miss you a lot - but I hope everyone over there spoils you rotten in my absence.

Inside the box you'll find my gift. Mainly candy from England that I thought you might like along. My main gift is hidden in the envelope under the candy and NO it's not porn or anything of the like! It's actually plane tickets - I've already covered it with those in the agency. You're coming here to visit me for a change, got it?

Chuuya's B-Day 2k21

"Hello there, sleepy head~" Chuuya purrs into the phone in response to Shirase's sleepy voice grumpily protesting the early wake-up call courtesy of a phone call "Consider it payback for interrupting my sleep a few weeks ago~"

He's got Shirase's letter open in his lap alongside the box it came with, open as well for ungloved fingers to rummage inside its contents and bring a candy to smirking lips once in a while. Chuuya's phone is pressed between his ear and shoulder; his free hand is idly playing with the plane tickets for England.

Whenever she looked at him, her eyes would be filled with scorn - and whenever she felt his lips on hers, she couldn’t help but feel disgust. Disgust over him, over herself, over this whole sorry excuse of ‘soulmates’. With each passing day the bitter taste in her mouth became worse and with yet another kiss, she felt how she just wanted to end this all. How her mind circled around the thought, of just trying to end him.

How was a person meant to stay sane, when life had taken such sharp turn? When being married to a man, who’s eyes were so full of insanity?

Miran blinked, before she mentally shook her head. One day she would be able to free Dazai and Chuuya from where Fyodor kept them prisoned and make sure, they would take Strelitzia and Juan with them into freedom. Until then, she had to be strong. No matter how difficulty this all was - especially with being unable to lie to her husband.

Freedom had come, but it had come with quite a price. They might no longer be lab rats, but it didn't mean Kyran hadn't caused a lot of changes by having them trapped down in his lab. Chuuya had come out with so much less than the poor brunette. Dazai was slowly being able to last a little longer without Arahabaki making contact with him, but that didn't mean the brunette could last just on human food alone. That was one of the changes that would forever be there for the brunette, though he didn't mind having to taste flesh and blood--- that was if he didn't think how much of a monster it truly made him.

He wanted to do something special for Chuuya though, because he knew without his boyfriend he probably couldn't survive. Brown eyes took in the festive changes that had happened to Yokohama. His mind had been toyed with so much that he was having to relearn some things. So in a way this was Dazai's first Christmas , just like it was Kai's. "I want to do something with ya" his voice was soft as he leaned into his boyfriend. He was actually slightly shorter than Chuuya now thanks to all the modifications that had been done to his own body, it had taken away inches of his height.

"Hmmmm" he tried to think what all the festive lights and the couples meant. Then his eyes seemed to sparkle as he saw the rather large tree at the center of the downtown area. "Chuu, what is that" he pointed at the tree with his free hand that wasn't gripping onto his boyfriend's. This was a question that seemed that should have come from Kai , but at times Kai seemed to know more than Dazai right now. They were actually out alone for the first time in awhile, Kai had chosen to let them have alone time. He could read a lot into things , he was truly thankful when it came to Chuuya taking him along, Dazai too--- but the other ginger simply wanted to find a way to fix Dazai for Chuuya.

That honestly sounded tempting-

Taking a breath, she rubbed her hands on her arms, another shiver going through her body. Of course she was going to freeze out in this cold, it suddenly started to snow and before she could even get home, there was a decent few inches of snow on the ground. It left her trying to escape back home, but still getting caught in the downfall.

If there was a time one should not fight with the young woman - it was today. Her mood had already spiraled down so shortly after the morning. So if he wanted to make the tables turn? He could do so. But she’d goddamn make sure they would fly back straight at him - or anywhere else. Perhaps, she also just took it a bit too literal? She wasn’t all too sure, but she guess she would sooner or later find out.
