So close to done with my #nimbus by #dawncatanzaro! I can't wait to see this beauty blocked out, if I can find a place to pin it. Worked up in @greenhousehlee Shetland wool in this gorgeous natural shade on 4 mm needles. The yarn is a little rustic, but blocking helps even everything out, and it is DELIGHTFUL. Wonderfully sheepy smelling, and still on the lanolin-y side, 2-3 hot baths with mild soap turn it in to the softest fabric. The construction on this shawl has made it a fun project to work and watch develop, and the looooong stretches of garter meant I got a little reading done while I was making it. Now I'm nearly nearly NEARLY done, and I keep sneaking in a few rows instead of doing the things I'm supposed to be doing.
