biggest crime against me as a person that likes the maximoffs is that they never capitalize on the minimoffs cousin relationships ,i don’t even care about the gifted but i would like dawn to be canon

WANDA'S POWER FUCKERY WHEN SHE HAS THE BRAXTON HICKS CONTRACTION IS A REFERENCE TO LORNA'S IN THE GIFTED and you will never convince me otherwise!
“The whole grid went silent. The power went out everywhere.” “What does-- what does-- what does that mean?”
Okay, I know the list of fics I'm begging people to write is getting endless, but for the love of all that is holy: write me one of Esme and Lorna together and being moms to baby Dawn.
Like, every time they have a scene together, I just about die with fangirling. I loved Eclaris and all, but...yeah, no, this has taken over. Esme and Lorna just...being complete dorks over Dawn, and Andy being the self-appointed uncle we need him to be, and them all loving Dawn and Esme and Lorna being cute girlfriends and Rebecca isn't shady and— JUST ESME AND LORNA AS MOMS AND ANDY AS AN UNCLE, OKAY.
gifted rant that no one asked for but we all probably need to hear
i know that lorna is a complete badass and she is willing to fight for what she believes in, which is why we all love her.
BUT, i hate her this season. well, not “her” but her actions and decisions. she is a mother, and she wants a better world for her child, good. but raising a child in a war, coming back home from bloody battles to an innocent baby, is not how a child should grow up.
also besides the obvious war and murder fun stuff that lorna is teaching her child, after everything they have to do to get this mutant utopia, will lorna ever be able to actually look her daughter in the eyes and tell her everything? will she be able to tell her daughter she destroyed a plane, killing not only her enemy, but innocent passengers and staff?
this is the part that pisses me off the most - marcos. this child literally in the first few days of her life got SICK because she didnt have her father. like thats literally the biggest red flag you could have gotten. Dawn deserves to grow up and know her father. MARCOS deserves to know his daughter. and this may be temporary but will marcos and lorna EVER be the same? no. they cant. this family is being destroyed, and not just by the inner circle, by lorna.
i love lorna and her character fascinates me, but this season, she is more of a “villian” than a “hero”. and i am so not here for it.
lorna is destroying everything, to try to build something “better”.
and one thought i have had during this season is - humans are harsh on mutants because they are afraid. fighting, using violence only adds to their fear. which adds to the hatred. you cannot fight hatred and fear with more hatred and fear. it will not work. it never does.

Both Wanda and Lorna sing lullabies to their children.
Emma said it in a video once, but now I cant find it, Whats the name of the song Lorna hums to Dawn??
Lorna Dane
Is no one going to mention how realistic post-birth Lorna looked in 2x02??
Most movies/tv shows make it look like the women just immediately snap back into their pre-pregnancy bodies.
Yet, in The Gifted season 2, episode 2 you see that Lorna still has a bump post-birth [you can see it really well in the scene where Andy makes a mess with the coffee/espresso drink thing]
They didn't have Lorna snap right back into what she looked like in Season 1, they are making it so she's still got the weight.
Its amazingly realistic and I am oddly very proud of it.
