David Paul (1957 - 2020) was a popular bodybuilder during the fitness craze of the 1980s. David and his twin brother Peter were regulars at the famous Gold's Gym in Venice, CA. With their long hair and bulging muscles, they were perfectly primed to follow in the footsteps of Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger. David and Peter first appeared in Joel Schumacher's DC CAB alongside fellow musclebound phenom, MR. T. Their claim to infamy would come from the quick and cheap clone of CONAN THE BARBARIAN from Cannon Films titled THE BARBARIANS. The nickname stuck for The Barbarian Brothers even if their fame didn't reach the height of their muscley counterparts. They would go on to a trio of action comedies with THINK BIG, DOUBLE TROUBLE, and TWIN SITTERS.
