Dear Tumblr: I think you should know that David Fane was walking around with a little bag around him and inside that bag was an even smaller bag of mini cadburys chocolate that he went around offering to attendees in the lobby of the con.
Also he sang "how do you solve a problem like maria?" to me.

Trying to figure out how anyone can stay mad at Ed. I mean look at him, just look:
Even if some people don’t take his word for it, he’s trying his best!
Also he genuinely apologizes to Fang here:
Fang told him exactly how he felt and didn’t hold back. Fang also gave Ed the compassion that he needed. Think about the fact that Ed grew up in a toxic, abusive environment. First with his father and then being a pirate. Neither environment prepared him for genuine apologies. Those environments in fact discouraged it. To the people who hold up the ideals of toxic masculinity and the patriarchy, apologizing makes you look weak. Which is of course not true. It takes courage and strength of character to admit you were wrong, apologize and back it up with actions. Ed genuinely didn’t know that he was scaring Fang. As soon as he found out he immediately apologized. Ed then goes on to show how much he’s trying through his actions. He repairs things around the ship and gives everyone the space to work through their feelings. To me that means so much. Words are one thing, actions are another. Apologies can feel empty and like they mean nothing without the actions to back them up. So as sincerely as Ed meant his apology he then goes on to show that he means it. Just because Ed messes up doesn’t mean he’s undeserving of love, respect, community and compassion.
“It's a good show. Don't say was. It is.”
~ David Fane, TNUC, 20th June 2025.
"You won anyway. And I was late!"
"Boom! Crash! That's what I'm talking about! Fuck scissors!"
"Bitch!"
"See? You lost. And I didn't even look. Next!"
"See you later, boy!"
"Yes! There you go! I cheated."
"Bah! Humbug."
"I win!"
"I win!"
"Why?" - "I'm sorry." "What does it mean?" - "It just means I won."
fifth attempt "ruibo! come on!"
David Fane laughing "Do I win? Defeats everything!"
