I had a massive block of colour on my project, so I tried putting in a secret message- All Done By Kindness. Itâs all done with the same colour thread, but the stitches are done in the opposite way for the message. As you can see in the first pic, you donât notice anything unusual when you look face on, but if you catch it in the right light it magically appears. Itâs very cool.
All Done By Kindness was the motto of the magician David Devant, and in turn became the motto of the band David Devant and His Spirit Wife, and you should definitely check them out.

David Devant (22 February 1868 â 13 October 1941) was an English magician, shadowgraphist and film exhibitor. He was born David Wighton in Holloway, London.[1]He is regarded by magicians as a consummate exponent of suave and witty presentation of stage illusion.[2] According to magic historian Jim Steinmeyer, Devant was "Englandâs greatest magicianâarguably the greatest magician of the 20th Century".[3]
