Aprovechando el tirĂłn, seguimos en lĂnea anecdĂłtica pero interesante con los ignotos Seventeen, grupo en la onda power pop- mod revival que publicĂł un Ăşnico single en 1979 en Vendetta Records con los temas "Don't Let Go" y "Bank Holiday Weekend".
El bisoño cuarteto se disolviĂł en 1981 y prácticamente nadie lo recordarĂa si no fuera porque Seventeen al completo cambiĂł de nombre convirtiĂ©ndose en los exitosos "siempre en punta" The Alarm. De esta forma los guitarristas Mike Peters (fallecido en abril del año pasado) y Dave Sharp, y la secciĂłn de ritmo formada por Eddie MacDonald y Nigel Buckle, acabaron triunfando en el año 1983 con temas torrenciales y Ă©picos como "Sixty Eight Guns" y "Where Were You Hiding When the Storm Broke?".
