Why do I feel compelled to kick up a hornet nest as I travel down this rabbit hole? The investigators are going to start asking for their requests to be assigned to any other analyst. ::sigh::

2012, let me count the ways
I'm doing something a little different this year. Rather than create some resolution to lose weight or quit coffee like half the other people out there, I'm going to count and calculate more.
Maybe it's because I spent the latter half of last year in a new role and have come to embrase MS Excel, or maybe it's because I'll be buying a house later this year with money I have saved. Either way, I should be able to get some interesting figures and focus in on how I spend my time and money.
I've split up various groups including Metrics (i.e. weight, loads of washing), Money (food, travel expenses, coffee) and Time (Mins cleaning or excercising).
So a little bit about me before I brerak out some stats. I'm a mid 20s, single guy, living in a large 1 bedroom apartment. I live by myself, work full-time, study part-time and have no girlfriend (though I have a plant).
For the first week this year, I've spent:
Money
$21.10 on coffee
$37.10 on eating outside home (cafes, bars, reestuarants)
$19.60 on public transport
Metrics
Lost 2.1kgs
2 loads of washing
Time
4 and 3/4 hrs exercising
1 and 1/2 hrs cooking
1 and 1/4 hrs cleaning
Is there any other info you would like me to capture? I'm thinking I should try and include electricity consumption now that I have my SmartMeter.
Hopefully after a few weeks I'll be able to put together an infographic or something. It's interesting that at the moment it looks like I will spend $1,097 on coffee, $1,929 on dining and $1,019 on public transport this year alone.
