You all sat around the dinner table. With your boyfriend of two years and  his two brothers. You had moved in with them because things between you and Darry had gotten serious. 

"Darry can I have five bucks?" Ponyboy asked not looking up. 

"Pony you know we barely can afford rent what makes you think. I can give money left and right!?" Darry snapped. 

"I could help out with rent you know." You suggested. Darry looked at you with a look you had never gotten before. He was furious. 

"Or you could just move out." He growled. You swallowed hard and tried to push back tears. You pushed up your chair and walked out the door, slamming it behind you. The door swung open seconds later and you reached the bottom of the steps. 

"(y/n)! Wait!" Darry called after you. 

"You got your wish Darrel. I'm leaving" You hissed.

"No. That's not what I want. I didn't mean it! You have a point." Darry said. 

"I was just trying to help." You sighed. Darry met you at the bottom of the stairs. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you close. He kissed your lips softly then slowly left a trail of kisses along your neck.
