Reflections Some reflections you can never escape, you can cease to exist but they won’t, They create a loop of eternity and stay in the mirror forever telling a story unknown and forgotten. I have Burnt I have burnt the letters of dismay and disappointment. I have left shallow thoughts of emotions behind. I have burnt the roses of unfortunate days and have pricked my fingers one last time in the thorns. I am now free. I like my mornings a little magical, to believe that fairies exist in my garden and inside the flowers of my potted plants. Demons We have demons hiding inside our closets, under the beds, and in our soul. The ones which are most dangerous are the ones inside our souls because they seep inside our blood and grow on us like a friend. We talk to them to beat our loneliness and tell them the stories and secrets we haven’t told anyone. We start living with them, eat and sleep with them because nobody else would. Why? Because we are different, different from the crowd that pretends to be sane. At least we don’t pretend, we keep are insane and creative selves alive for us, not for the world. We pierce through parallel worlds and live in two realities; one which is around us and one which is within us. We mostly live within us, staring at the old grandfather clock and the half drunk coffee cup with dried stains of lazy unwashed days. We keep the bed tidy, but there is a storm always raging within like nobody could ever calm it. We have dug secrets deeper than the Mariana Trench which no diver could ever find. We have dried flowers like forgotten memories within yellow crispy pages of our books and dried ink stains and red lipstick on a special top that we never washed. We are so much and yet so empty, but yet we can never be deciphered nor be loved the way we deserve to be.
