It’s never too late to hear me ramble about my son!

Pros:

Ideally he'd be the one who covers meals, and he'd be able to work miracles even on a limited budget and pantry.

He's got enough connections to set up reservations at fancy restaurants and hotels, too.

Pretty well off financially, would be able to afford a comfortable home for a family.

Surprisingly gets very snuggly and sappy around his partners. Does whatever he can to keep them safe and comfortable.

Cons:

Spends long hours at work and rarely gets holidays off. Very likely to miss important dates and milestones, or even have to cancel plans at the last minute.

He's usually too exhausted after work to cook. Breakfast is usually the best chance to get freshly-cooked meals from him and there's always leftovers, but otherwise ordering in and heating up frozen pre-made meals are very common.

Digging too deep into his personal life reveals a lot of mixed feelings about permanent commitments like marriage and especially raising children, specifically that he feels like his past experiences with absent parents and failed relationships means that he won't be able to provide a stable presence as a husband or as a father.
