I had a dream once about a different sort of life. In it I felt complete and a part of something much greater than myself. It was colorful and exhilarating and when I woke up I thought, "That's what the whole world is waiting for." 

Track 2: Don't be anybody else other than yourself. You're beautiful and broken—a dreamer and a traveler—just like the rest of us, and I promise you there is someone out there who understands. 

Love is probably the most powerful thing that exists, and when we truly experience it we feel immortal and like all of a sudden our lives seem to make sense. But, love can have the opposite effect on us too, which is mostly what this song is about. It can tear us apart and make us question everything that kept our feet on the ground, and yet, at the core of who we are is an innate longing to love and be loved. Isn't that just so tragically beautiful?  

This is more or less a song that assumes you're being trampled on by certain people in your life who couldn't give less of a shit about how you feel, and then standing up for what you value and believe in.

Don't be so afraid because soon enough you'll be okay. I guess that's what this song means to us.
