I think it's a tie between Shion and Jo right now lol

Shion is chaotic and violent and spacey and yandere and a m a z i n g he's just. A little weirdo. He's a bit like a mix of Towa and Taiga--two of my favorite characters! And they BOTH HATE HIM LMAO. He's delightful. He's a catastrophe. He decided MC was his wife and got mad that Jin was holding hands with her. He loves her and wants to hurt her and cure her loneliness with his company and control her communication with others and be treated like everyone else. He says that he and MC and Mio--and maybe all of Dionysia, but once upon a time definitely Haru as well--are his family. But he also talks about how much he hates family family is awful you don't need them all they do is hurt you but he wants this found family and he wants them as a family his little brother mio his wife mc he wants the snow to pile up so they can play in it as a family. . .he speaks in contradiction like he believes fear is joy and affection is disgust so to hurt is to love and to be hurt is to accept love he loves to scare people in so many ways he'll take the fall for anything if it means his family is safe. . . .i'm looking forward to more from him in the coming months. He's not quite what I imagined but I still love the outcome we got

And Jo. Jo. I thought he would be my least favorite of them. Nice guy, popular, relied on by everyone. But it turns out he's the team mom with a borderline big sister personality--and he needs to keep busy. Always be moving. "when I'm working, I don’t have time to think too much." They don't talk much about themself and they avoid thinking too much about themself when they can. And then!! And then!!!! The shapeshifting. The being a girl. Turns out they "come in two flavors, but both of them are me"--about as close to saying they're bigender without saying it in those words. They ride back in their Cadillac(their baby!!!) as a boy but when you get back to dionysia to work on the report she's a girl again!!! She just hangs out as a girl whenever that's how she's feeling!!! And nobody says a damn thing about it because that's just Jo! I feel like we've kinda just scratched the surface with Jo--their uncertain but impeccable leadership and planning, their caring and doting, the way they were quick and eager to become mc's fem friend tending to her hair and her clothes and cooing over her--but also. Jo doesn't want to talk much about himself. He avoids having space for idle thoughts. So i'm sure everything we learn will be sprinkled in. . .but i'm eager to see more.

Shion, probably! Probably won't change after release unless his character is different than described/we've seen so far. He's very much my type of character lmaoooo wild, cruel, obsessive, sharp teeth, military dress uniform inspired part of his outfit? I'm in. 👌🏾 They'd have to drastically change him for me find another character more of a draw based on character alone lol

This man is harder to catch than a fish going up stream with your bare hands! If he’s not at home, he’s at the lab, and if he’s not at the lab. . . He’s at home! He’s become such a rare sighting in the kingdom that some monsters joke that he’s a myth.

Even Alphys has trouble seeing him. She communicates (near) exclusively through computer messages, or second hand messages through his brothers when they visit.

This, of course, makes it pretty hard to meet, let alone befriend this man.

He’s not opposed to socializing, so much as has no interest in it. He loves his work, and sees little reason to force himself to do things he doesn’t enjoy.

If you do manage to catch this man during one of his wow-he’s-actually-outside! moments, and strike up a conversation with him, you’ll find him to be polite and pleasant. He’s entirely mute, and signs to communicate (although he can conjure literal words, he chooses not to 99% of the time as an excuse not to talk to people). If you can sign back, great! If not? He’s smiling and nodding politely as he walks away from you. He’s now waving goodbye—still smiling politely—as he’s getting into the lab and shutting the door in your face.

This changes, of course, if you ask him to dance.

Like all Dancetale monsters (ignoring Sans), this man can’t refuse a dance. Due to his reclusive lifestyle it is exceedingly rare to find a partner—and to have someone actually ask him? Take initiative? He’s beaming. He’s smiling as wide as can be as he’s eagerly gently taking your hand.

He prefers to take the lead when dancing, but he’s willing to be lead if the dance flows better that way. He’s graceful, elegant, and so sweetly gentle with his partner. You don’t even have to be a good dancer—you can have two left feet for all he cares—he’s just so genuinely happy to dance with someone, and he’s got enough talent to guide you through every move.

Asking to dance with him once is enough to earn you plain affection from him—platonic or romantic.

But seeking him out and doing it again? Repeatedly?

He’s swooning.

You’ve got yourself a lifetime dance partner, congratulations.

If you want that partner to stay platonic, fine by him. He’ll be kind of friend who, no matter how long it’s been since the last conversation, your relationship won’t change. While he may not be there for the small things, he’ll always come cheer you on for the important moments.

If you want that partner to turn romantic. . . He’s certainly not opposed, although you’ll have to make the first moves. Romance isn’t on the forefront of this scientist’s mind. He’ll either need you to be direct with him, or have one of his brothers point it out to him.

As soon as he understands, he’s taking extra steps in his day to meet with you. He’s opening doors for you. He’s ordering lunch for both of you. He’s pulling you into his arms for spontaneous dances.

He won’t say it. He won’t sign it. But he’ll show his reciprocation through acts of service, and intentional time away from his work to be with you.

He is not the jealous type. Far, far away from it. He trusts you implicitly unless you give him a clear reason not to—and if that happens, the relationship is over regardless.

He is, however, unintentionally distant.

There will be times where you have to remind him that sunlight is a thing and maybe he shouldn’t sleep at his desk again. He’ll make an earnest effort for you, but breaking years of work habits will take time.

Even his brothers struggle reminding him.

If you ever feel he’s becoming too distant—just tell him. He will never take offense to that as he fully acknowledges it as something he needs to work on.

Like a plant shoved in a corner, this monster just needs someone to shed a little light and love on his life to let him flourish.

One dance could change it all for him.

the ending felt slightly rushed but it was actually pretty good. the mcd was already expected, but overall still managed to be a shock factor.

i guess i was just a little bit disappointed that edo tensei hashirama didn't make an appearance and talk with naasica, but it's not like there would've been a chance for confrontation. considering she and madara planned this for years already, they'd want to get it done as quickly as possible.

There, in the hallway ahead of me, Harry was chatting with Fred and George. There were no books in any of their hands, and no class was expecting them for a while.

I shoved my textbooks into Draco's arms, the poor boy sputtering in surprise. I turned on my heel to Harry and sprinted. I whipped out my wand and cast a quick spell to tie Fred's shoelaces together. Just as Fred noticed what I had done, I had jumped onto Harry's back. I swung out my legs as Harry reflexively began to piggy-back carry me.

"TWIN RACE: GO GO GO!"

Without really thinking, Harry began to run with me on him. I turned around to see the looks of the flabbergasted twins. I stuck out my tongue and taunted them, "Suckers!"

They gasped. George then picked up Fred, tossed him over his shoulder and started running to catch up.

"NOT TODAY, SNAKE!"

"FASTER HARRY, FASTER!"

"WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GO, ROSIE?!"

"JUST RUN, BROTHER, RUN!"
