As for a Hornette sprite, yeah, that’d be awesome! I have very limited experience with sprite work, but if anyone feels like trying it (no pressure) it’ll join my fansprite page with honor!

hey! not to pester, but; is saying that i like the color or something similar still bothersome for convo starring? NOT “oh why do you need a cane” but something like that? i’d like to not make people uncomfortable

Personally my cane is pretty plain so I’d be suspicious if someone complimented it because I’d think they were just trying to be like HEY SO I SEE YOU HAVE A CANE.  But if I had a fancier one (like with a print or something) I’d be fine with that.

This specific incident was someone saying “Wow, I’ve never seen anyone barefoot with a cane before!” and then behaving SUPER weirdly and not believing me when I was like yeah okay but I’m fine??? my feet don’t hurt???  (Also she kept STARING at my feet while I was trying to get her to concentrate on doing her job so I later joked to my friend that she must have a foot fetish lmao.)

But usually, yeah, it’s people asking what I need it for or saying, “Oh, what did you do!?” as literally the first thing they ever say to me because they assume a young person with a cane must have a temporary injury and not be disabled.

i found rainbow pins work!! on a backpack or purse, or shirt, etc. i dress lazy so people assume i'm straight too lol
