forgotten suggestion

I went MIA on this blog shortly after I brought on mod q. I got super wrapped up with work, school, and the relationship I was in at the time and completely lost track of how this blog was even doing. During that time, I finished my stint at community college, got accepted into UCLA for art history, and then promptly transferred out and into an art school. I’m now studying photography and creative writing and will be graduating with my BFA in 2022! 

Shortly after I created forgottensuggestion, I entered into a relationship that I someone I thought was it for me. We were together for just over four years, and they ended things in March. Things were extremely complicated, toxic, and messy during the last month we were together, and we are no longer on speaking terms. They entered into a new relationship almost immediately after we separated and their new partner took it upon themselves to threaten me and spread rumors about me. The way things went down in the end made me extremely sad and threw me into a deep depression for a while, but that was 7 months ago now, and I’m doing much better!

I’m still in school (going to art school online sucks, but we’re making it work), and am currently working on my mid-residency gallery show! I’ve been processing the trauma of my breakup and coming to terms with the toxicity of the relationship through meditation, therapy, and general spiritual healing. I work as a barista for the green mermaid company and I love my job! I’ve managed to find a supportive and loving community of people that I see/interact with almost daily now and it’s helped tremendously.
