she'd seen christian out of the corner of her eye over an hour ago and had been furiously avoiding ever since. it wasn't too hard given the large house party they were in. it had been years since they last laid eyes on each other and decided they were better off apart. the worst day of her life. she didn't want to face him and face the reality that they were anything but what they once were. as they physically bump into each other, however, its clear the universe had other plans. " shit— " mahogany hues meet his deep azure pools and it feels like she's taking a breath of fresh air. she quickly snaps out of it. " i see you still don't watch where you're going. " (@darkhoneys)

"it's  two  am."  sleepy  eyes  stared  confused  at  the  person  on  the  other  side  of  her  front  door.  "you  couldn't  have  stopped  by  at  a  decent  time?"

          the club was crowded, her boyfriend celebrating his victorious boxing match the best way he knew how --- alcohol & drugs. and lots of it. though she was happy to be there, maeve was excited for a totally different reason. she saunters over and sits down on the couch in the vip section, crossing one leg over the other as she hands a drink towards her boyfriend’s drug dealer. his favorite. hers too, if she were being honest. said reason for her excitement tonight. “ you look like you need to lighten up, ” brow raises gently as her hazel hues meet his, a smile on her face to let him know she’s being light-hearted. “ he’s been distracted all night with this party. are you not having fun ? ” ( @darkhoneys )

            roxy wasn’t a massive partier, moreso enjoying social functions because it was just something to do. nevertheless here she was, red plastic cup in her left hand as she stood adjacent to her friends in the crowded living room. she excuses herself to the kitchen, desperate to find something stronger she could drown herself with. eventually she finds a half empty bottle of vodka, unscrewing the cap before giving herself a good heavy pour. she barely registers someone else entering the kitchen until she feels them bump against her, the contents of her cup sloshing out onto her hand. “ hey, careful-- ” she scolds, turning to face them with an irritated expression, flicking her hand dry. it’s only then that she get a good look at who stumbled into her. he’s tall, undeniably handsome, yet unfamiliar. his blue eyes feel cold, a contrast to the warmth that’s permeated her space ever since she stepped foot in the building. “ your eyes are pretty. too bad you can’t use them. ” she digs, only surface-level in her intentions. brushing past him she returns the vodka to the fridge, grabbing some sort of brightly-colored fruit juice before returning to her drink.

           the blonde hadn’t gone out much since her and christian had gotten back together, too all consumed with him. every free moment was spent with him, under covers in minimal clothing. naturally it was on their first night out together that alex pulled her away when christian left her alone to go use the restroom. she kept her distance, and politely explained to him what had happened, believing he deserved some closure after all. she had just turned away from him to head back into the main hallway as she comes face to face with christian, eyes widening as she notices his visible anger. “ christian this is not what it looks like, ” she explains in a drunken slur. “ let’s just leave, okay ? ”
