I just learned about this new book, Gótico Tenochtitlan: la disección de las sombras by Cristhian Chavero López, which talks about the goth music scene in Mexico City. As far as I can tell, it is only available in Spanish so far, so my angloparlante followers wouldn't be able to read it, but all my Spanish-speakers out there certainly can.

This week’s album review is of the self-titled 2023 debut by Mexico City, Mexico-based deathrock act Miedo Vicio Podredumbre, my favorite release of 2023 and one of the coolest deathrock releases I've heard in a while.
