Hi All, 

This is a very spur of the moment post & I’ll be the first to admit my ignorance for having posted hundreds of foundation & cushion reviews without out rightly calling out the discriminatory stance many beauty brands has taken to formulate exclusively for women of lighter skin tones. 

I have a lot of learning & growing to do. Till then I will limit my uploads on foundation review until I derive a metrics for foundation reviews that is able to address this discrimination in an subjective way while still having a objective view on the formulation (i.e. striking a balance).

I know that this post is not suppose to be an apology letter but I truly am sorry for my ignorance thus far. I only enjoyed the indulgence of beauty, makeup & cosmetics for myself from the first day I started to post videos and have never really considered the vast population & their struggles. I will learn I promise. 

Now back to why you are here. For the list of foundations. I have place the price ranges, links to shop & shade names of only the darkest foundation shade the brand has to offer. Simply because I cannot put the full range but I will definitely do a follow up post on a top 5 or top 3 brand review on those that stock a good ratio & have good formulations for women of colour *so stay tuned*.

**Disclaimer: these recommendations below is based of solely online & instore research. I am not saying that these will match women of all darker skin tones as this post does not compare the range of dark tones provided as that will be a more in-depth post for another time. Also I am unable to comment on the formulation of the darker shades due to the fact that I am a Chinese female with a skin tone of NC20 so I am unable to test these shades on my skin to let you know the coverage abilities, etc. These recommendations are solely based on online claims & my research on reviewer on YouTube with similar deep dark skin tone**

Well I just wanted to do something urgently as I recently posted a Insta-story rant on the problem with the beauty industry especially retailers in Singapore. The price range is that of luxury brands to lower price range sephora brands which is unfortunate. I am currently scouting Singapore for drugstore brands for women of colour *keep you posted*.
