The fourth of seven commiseration pin-ups for characters who were never featured in any of last year's End-of-Month Pin-Ups!  Here's Chrysan and Erin in last May's Elementals theme! Last time I did the Earth/Water/Air/Fire combo. I wanted to keep this second picture equally "balanced" so rather than choosing two random unrelated tertiary elements like electricity and ice etc, I went with the directly contrasting/related light and dark elementals this time around - which also felt fitting considering Chrysan had a "dark" look back in Phantasm Dyad as well (although this version is only slightly related in design). I forget why I made this choice, but to be consistent with last time, I kept their outfits mostly based on their default looks.

Every generation, there is a group of elemental people (water, fire, earth, air). The current generation's elements constantly have people mix up which element they are since they go off the stereotype of hot headed fire, kind rock, peaceful air, and adaptable water.

This is because there was that ONE generation where the whole group had the stereotypical personalities. Now everyone holds the same belief to current elementals. FOREVER. No matter how many time they are told otherwise.

The current generation are as follows:

Fire: kind as a warm flame, caring, parent figure. Is too polite to correct people when they mistake them for rock, the just change the subject

Water: reckless as white water (rapids), thrill seeker, gets hurt A LOT, impulsive.

Rock: ambitious as a mountain climber, patient, charismatic. (I imagine them being very short and proud of it)

Air: hyper as quick winds, neat freak, technically the leader but the group likes Fire more,

Comedy ensues when people mistake the water for fire, fire for rock, rock for air, air for water/lightning. This ranges from a little kid wanting to meet one specific element, and is let down, to the wrong elemental being kidnapped.

Other possible elementals I can think of:

Lightning: loves dark humour, no respect for privacy, if they want to sleep in your bed, then you can expect to sleep on the couch, heavy sleeper (did you know that a lightning strike has a lower chance of killing you than a current from an electrical socket?). Mistaken for shadow.

Shadow: I have two ideas for this one. 1: they're not an actual elemental, just a really angsty teen "not" going through a phase. 2: they are a really peaceful and friendly person. Makes others comfortable. I mean, who wouldn't want to rest under some shade after a hot day. Mistaken for rock or light

Ice: Likes pointy things, passive aggressive, holds grudges. Mistaken for fire

Light/healing: two ideas for this one as well. 1: they are the person that will look you dead in the eye smiling while you suffer (I imagine that having your body's repair speed being rapidly increased would hurt). 2: they always happen to be in the right place at the right time, whether they like it or not. Can be annoyed into doing anything if it keeps them from sleeping (do you have any idea how hard it is to sleep when you literally produce light). Mistaken for a normal person.
