Noticed I had this WIP sitting in my Procreate folders and decided to finish it. Not my normal style (it’s my old shading style) But I like it a lot. I also have way too many Dark!Poe/FO!Poe headcanons 😩

He's the deadliest TIE pilot in the fleet with more confirmed kills than any other, determined to bring the Resistance down for the glory of the First Order. But behind the helmet, beyond the legend, there is a man. He has no name, just a call sign. He is the Reaver. Dark/FO!Poe Dameron AU, eventual Damerey. Prologue now live on AO3

Today, I am answering the challenge of @batuuprincess and posting a sneak peak of a WIP. I’ve been working on a Dark!Poe fic inspired by a fantastic fan art by @clakearts. So, now, without further ado, a sneakpeak of the so far Untitled (and unedited) Dark!Poe Story: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "You've been listed a traitor, Dameron," Organa said glancing at the TIE pilot from behind her desk. The man - formerly Reaper, currently... figuring it out, but answering to Poe - stood there in military stance, head up, arms clasped behind his back. The only thing missing was his black everyday uniform. It was in the footlocker of the tiny quarters he’d been assigned after being removed from the brig. He had tried to wear it, but Connix – who had been assigned to be his ‘handler’ for the first few weeks off his stay – had not so gently told him no. She’d thought it too provocative in this environment. Instead he’d been given someone’s civilian clothes, not a uniform as he didn’t truly belong here. “With all due respect, ma’am, I was likely written off long before this. If they cannot recover you, they assume you are lost or worse. They might search for pilots for a time, especially one of my caliber, but after the last battle, I am not surprised.” As far as he was concerned, he was just laying out the facts and his tone reflected it. Organa’s eyes narrowed and she sat up a bit more, clasping her hands in front of her on the desk. “And how does that make you feel?” She seemed to be searching for something with the question, but he wasn’t sure what. “That’s not relevant. It is what it is. I have to deal with the reality of this situation.” “Cut the shit.” Looking up, he saw General Leia Organa standing behind her desk, hands flat on the desktop, her lips pressed into a line as she looked at him appraisingly. Admittedly, the reaction surprised him, but it shouldn’t have. He remained stoic, consciously holding down a smirk at the former Princess’ balls. She walked around the desk coming to a stop in front of it and leaning back against it. Organa crossed her arms over her chest. “Everyone on this base gives you a wide berth, Dameron. Some of them think that you’re an unfeeling ass. Personally, I think you’re lost.” Part of Poe wanted to laugh at that, but he didn’t. He’d play nice until a line got crossed. “Begging your pardon, General-“ “I wasn’t finished,” she snapped, pinning him with a glare. “You’ve had plenty of time to try and leave. We even would have let you try.” The emphasis on that word try told him all he needed about Organa’s view of how it would have gone down. “But you haven’t.” Organa’s voice was sharp, shrewd and knowing. In his time detained by the Resistance he’d seen many sides of the General: Diplomat, nurturer, weary veteran. She didn’t take shit. Years of political experience, war and loss had molded her into a confident and capable leader, possibly more so now than in the aftermath of the first war. But this one was new. She’d always been direct, a spitfire, but he knew she’d been holding back a bit. Whether as a favor to his father or because she was biding her time, he didn’t know, but now it was in the open. She’d had enough. Pleasantries were over. She was bringing him to the floor and calling him on his actions. Princess. Senator. General. In spite of her small stature Leia Organa was a force to be reckoned with. She was everything the propaganda said she was and more.
