Yyyeeesss, dark Hidge, in my Shadows Fall AU >:3c Hunk and Katia (Pidge) work together to build a lot fo the team’s non-bayard weaponry, and develop Alfor’s weapons technology; they have a very tight bond as the science side of the team and absolutely adore each other. Hunk uses quintessence power armor that I like to headcanon he and Katia developed together, particularly!

There’s kind of a polydins situation going on with the shadow Paladins tbh; for some of the pairings it’s purely a friends-with-benefits thing (Keith/Lance, or really Keith/any of the other Paladins is like that bc Keith’s full and complete romantic devotion is to Shiro; same w/ Shiro/anybody but Keith) but Hidge is definitely dark twisted romantic and I love it.
