my collection grows...
...this is becoming an addiction isn't it?
HG Darilbalde!
This kit was actually a lot easier than my last one! I don't know if it's me getting better at this or the kit itself but i had way less trouble cleaning up nibs, and panel lining was a breeze too!
I didn't doo too many different poses this time because I Didn't Feel Like It, so unfortunately you don't get to see the rad wire thingies
overall I love this model! relative to the others I've built I'd say I like it better than the Gundam Pharact, but the Gudam Shwarzette is still my favorite!
More Witch from Mercury!
I think the all-red color-scheme of the Darilbalde really drives home how they were trying to set Guel up as some kind of Char-alike. The primary antagonist for Suletta. But I just don't buy it.
He's not that good a pilot. Miorine isn't into him. He's never really a threat to Suletta. Certainly not the way Char threatened Amuro.
Still - it's a cool suit!
RG Zeong had an action base so I gave it to Darilbalde

I can see why people like this funky little guy. His design is unlike any I've build before.
I don't have proper photos because my "light box" is out of order, but I also recently broke out the G-Witch Weapons Expansion Set.
The added shelf presence of the Darilbalde is starting to grow on me, but I still think I prefer the less bulky S1 version with the polearm overall. I might combine the S1 backpack and polearm with the S2 shoulder shield and gunblade for a preferred look. The Michaelis benefits the most from this set, the added weapon really completes the suit. As for the Pharact, I definitely love the Calivers/Musket over the Arquebus, but the upgrade pieces themselves are a bit of a miss. The rifle connection is not stable or solid at all, and you have to actually take the upper legs apart a little to install the new joints to hold them.
The biggest crime of this set is not including an open right hand for the Pharact, so you can't recreate this pose:
It also comes with extra beam effect parts for Guel's Dilanza from the final battle! It's a nice little pack, but I think I'd only recommend it of you have all 3 of these kits or are just a huge fan of one in particular. Of course, because it's P-Bandai, it's hard to casually purchase.
