Darcy threw him a daredevil grin over her shoulder, checking the parachute one last time before jump off - Clint grimaced, he couldn't believe they were really doing this.
Darcy saw, she always did.
"What, you scared of heights, birdbrain?"
Her grin grew into a smirk, and she flipped her hair back.
"Catch me if you can!" she crowed, before jumping out of the plane.
Clint cursed and jumped after her, but a smile was playing around his lips.
A hawk never missed its prey.
So it's officially my headcannon that because of his work, Hawkeye happens to have Darcy's number, and one day accidentally sends her an awkward text, and from that moment forward they are instant bffs.
I firmly believe that it's everyone's head canon. I also believe that they get together once a week and watch stuff like Megashark vs. Giant Octopus on the scifi channel.
