I hope Daniil cant save Eva in Pathologic 3. Not out of any sense of dislike towards her, she's one of my favorite characters, but her death was always so special in the original. Something immovable in a game where everyone else's mortality was up for grabs (i mean except for that twink in the theater). And with 3 introducing more ways to fine tune who lives and dies with time travel, having someone who cant be saved i think would had a lot. I'm willing to be wrong here, but i think thematically her death is very core to the game, and a lot would need to happen for me to be happy with her living.

what i think is really tragic about pathologic is that with the bachelor, you start off with hopes high and things just go downhill from there, but with the haruspex, you start off in the gutter, have this brief moment of hope, and then get kicked in the nuts all over again

The Pathologic classic experience is playing 2 whole routes in wich you see Clara like 2 times in the whole 12 days and then discovering she had always been inside your walls, silently observing every step you took and judging you for the whole game.
