InĂ©s walked into the room escorted by two bodyguards, each one of them carrying two bags while her hands were empty except for her purse. She always had them around, particularly when she was going around with this amount of money. “You can leave them on the table” she instructed as her eyes landed on the man who was waiting for her. “Hello” she said softly as her lips curved into a small smirk. “Long time no see” she hummed.Â
It had been her fault, she had been traveling from country to country, supervising this operation. InĂ©s was a firm believer that if you wanted something done right, then you should do it yourself. But now she was back and the deal was closed, all they had to do was count and split the money. “That will be all, you can leave now” she said to her bodyguards, briefly glancing at Daniel. “I’m in good hands” she added. The two men made their way out and finally InĂ©s turned around, removing her jacket and then hang it on the back of a chair.Â
She rounded the table, approaching to where he was sitting and once she was next to him, instead of sitting on the chair, she hopped onto the table. “How you been, baby?” She asked softly, reaching for one of the bags and opened it, revealing an obnoxious amount of one hundred bills. “I’ve missed you...”
