10 Ways To Live a Happy and Healthy Life
Below are 10 things I believe will help all to live a happier and more healthy (both physically and mentally) life!
1. WHEN YOU LOOK GOOD YOU FEEL GOOD
Often when I feel down, I make it a point to put a lot into my appearance that day. Â When I do my hair and make up and put on a nice outfit I look in the mirror, I look good therefore I feel good. Â Karla Deras of KarlasCloset.com said it best; " I don't wear a tut and heels so people will look at me, I wear that because I feel good in it"
You can't control everything, learn to let things go. Â Live life and enjoy it and this goes hand in hand with my number 3.
You can't take everything to serious, when you're older you want to look back at life and thing yo yourself you really enjoyed it. Â Don't hold back, when there's something you want to do or buy just do it! Live your life!
4.SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE DOING GREAT THINGS
I hate the phrase birds of a feather flock together because i don't fully believe in it. Â I have enjoy having a group of eclectic friends who are all different from me in various ways. Â They often show me different things however are all positive good people who are ding great things inline and inspire me to do the same.Â
5.MAKE DECISIONS FOR YOURSELF
Granted you always want to make people apply, that's natural. We are all people pleasers to some extent; especially concerning work and family but don't make a decision that makes you uncomfortable just to please someone else. Sometimes you have to say no! Do what's right for you and remember don't sacrifice your happiness to make someone else happy.Â
6. DON'T COMPARE YOUR BEHIND THE SCENES TO SOMEONES HIGHLIGHT REEL
What does this mean? You don't see everyone's struggle because they don't show it. Â People show the positives in their lives, the good things and you can't compare what you're going through to what you see someone else may be going through because you don't know their full story. Â Everyone does different things and experiences different obstacles to get where they are!
7. BE HONEST AND SET NO EXPECTATIONS
When you have an expectation you are setting yourself up got sadness. Â Like I said earlier just live life and let g. Â Let life happen and expect nothing from it, that way regardless of what happens; the good and the bad you won't be to disappointedÂ
It's often said if you can't be happy alone you won't be happy with someone else so work on yourself! Cook dinner for yourself, have a drink,flip through a again or read book. Spend time alone to just relax and focus on yourself, do things you like to do!
Lately I've made the decision to eat healthier and drink more water, with the exception of a cheat day of course! I've felt great, and truth be told healthier foods are so cute as well!
10. OPEN YOURSELF UP TO NEW THINGS
Sometimes changing your surroundings can help broaden your horizons. Â Meet knew people and discover new things. It's easy to become frustrated when you're in the same place around the same people constantly. It's great to get away and see new things! You never know if you like something until you try it.Â
