If Bagheera needed medical attention ASAP then Shere Khan would pay the ransom. But other then that Khan is taking his panther back by force. Of course he's going to be smart about it.

He would hire Baloo because 1) he's one for the few animals that truly knows what Bagheera means to him and 2) is one of the only pilots skilled enough to face Don Karnage and his fleet and get out (mostly) unscathed. Kit would be a plus 1 due to his knowledge of the pirates.

He would have his pilots as backup for the bears, but kept afar. He trusts his old friend to bring Bagheera back

In the end Bagheera got home safe and sound while Don Karnage was left with egg on his face. Bagheera was given some time off to help calm his tiger's nerves despite what Khan says.

Of course Shere Khan isn't going to let the pirates go unpunished

After he smacked Kaa he backed away a bit. But his body is stretched out and his face and eyes are looking directly at the angry snake.

As Kaa comes closer he tries to close one eye as he is retreating down the branch. Why wouldn't he smack Kaa again here? Why would Bagheera feel so helpless here? And why can't he stop looking at Kaa?

As Kaa rises in the air, Bagheera matches the motion. Sitting upright while his feet are still making the walking backwards motion. Seems his lower and upper body are not on the same page anymore.

As he comes to a standstill and Kaa comes even closer to his face he realises what has happened. He is stuck with the hypnotic snake in front of his voice. With that commanding voice and alluring power. What could he do?

What anyone would do who was already introduced to Kaa's powers. Smile at the prospect of feeling so good. Bagheera starts to plead, hoping Kaa would find reason somewhere to not do this in front of the boy. But somewhere Bagheera has accepted what will happen.

As Kaa threatens him some more we can later see how much Bagheera really wants it. His eye bulging forwards, seeking the most vision of Kaa's marvelous eyes. His mouth slightly opens as he starts to feel so good so fast.

His eye syncs up after a few rings. Mirroring the colors happening in Kaa's eyes. Bagheera is not confused like Mowgli. His eyes and mind know what to do...

It doesn't matter anymore how mad Kaa looks at Bagheera. The colors in his eye matching up perfectly with Kaa gives him such incredible pleasure that he starts to beg for more.

And just before he completely gives in we can see the smile reaching the climax. His eyes completely filled and just wanting to give in completely. Notice how a few frames before he Pings he is also no longer looking at Kaa directly. His mind is now stuck on those colors and their pleaure, making sure he makes them on his own.

Kaa had a mission, to make Bagheera submit. He didn't listen to his plea, he didn't gloat like with Mowgli. He didn't seem to be all smiley and full of himself. Instead he forces Bagheera to look at him with both eyes. He knows how to handle him, bringing his own eyes closer and opening them wide to emphasize the word "Both"

Bagheera knew his plea wouldn't work, his mind was already enjoying the colors. That smile appearing in a record time. His left eye already drowning and glued to Kaa. He forgot why he was here, what he was doing. It didn't matter anymore, he was already waiting for Kaa's next command. Luckily he didn't had to wait that long. Suddenly the colors from Kaa were so close to his own eyes. Combined with just the word "Both" was enough. Of course he meant both eyes, why was his other one still closed? His other eye opened and revealed that in his closed eye the colors were already flowing, his right eye didn't even need to look at Kaa. His mind already made sure the vision of both his eyes were filled to the brim with those pleasurable colors.
