The Half of It (2020) Personal opinion
I just watched this movie and I had to write about it. I'm not a big fan of Netflix movies, so I'll base on the few that I have seen. Company tried to risk once again presenting a plot of teenage romance, and I mentioned "risk" because it was kind of different, if I can say it (of course, regardless of how trite it's that the main character is an antisocial young who hides from the world) I don't know you but I think the movie connects in some way how you've ever felt (I think a few of you'll understand) when the main character is expresing about the receiver of the letters she writes. When you're secretly in love with someone and you dedicate your thoughts, words that you can never say face to face because you're scared of your feelings, trying to meet with a social standard. A similar situation had already been seen in a serie that Netflix released a few years ago (Everything Sucks) and I think it's one of my favorite types. Idk. Also, it's funny that Yakult is mentioned like an exotic drink. I guess in the US it's not common to find it in the supermarket stores like in Mexico.
