My introduction to Tunnel Rats was in 2001 with the release of their Tunnel Vision LP. Iâll never forget my longtime homie Herrick playing the CD for me at his house. I was like, wow ok theyâre Christian rappers but it actually sounds dope!
I even wrote a review of the album on Amazon. I was trying to see if it was still up but couldnât find it.
Well, here we are nearly 30 years later! Founded in Whittier, CA, several of the group members continued making music individually, and itâs been dope actually getting to know some of them over the years as well.
The album spans 18 hard hitting tracks and they have not missed a step!
As I am just coming to update this post, I see that this is actually the first of a two part series. Legacy Pt. 2 is dropping this Friday, August 8th.
