"White Eye"
WHITE EYE is a thought-provoking, must see short film. #WHITEEYE #SXSW
This short film was scheduled to screen at South by Southwest (SXSW). Screen Zealots will continue some of our planned coverage of SXSW, the annual film festival in Austin, Texas that was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.ย LOUISA:ย
LOUISA SAYS:
Sometimes a short film is the perfect vehicle for powerful storytelling, and one of the best examples of this Iโve seen in a long, long whileโฆ

Daniel Gad is an entrepreneur and "Farmer." He worked for a major corporation (AT&T) in the telecommunications industry in the United States where his last assignment was as Vice President and Client Partner in the company. His career at AT&T also saw him as one of the founding members of the first consulting and outsourcing company called AT&T Solutions where he led global deals worth over $1.7 billion multi-year contracts. During his time at AT&T he attended graduate executive programs at MIT Cambridge School of Systems Design and USC Business School. Daniel decided to leave his post at AT&T and return home to Ethiopia in 2003. Since his return he has developed (and sold) a 28 hectare rose farm (MetroLux Flowers) and now manages and operates a vegetable production farm (Omega Farms). He is currently focused on further developing the vegetable producing and exporting company.
