Dani and Justin Sibling Headcanons
Justin is the oldest (16-17), and Dani is the middle child (15-16). They also have younger twin sisters named Hazel and Harley (4-5)
Dani is the smart, rebellious one
Justin is the mean, quiet one
Dani borrows Justin’s clothes constantly. His flannels, band tees, even his leather jacket
When they fight, it gets loud and dramatic (slamming doors, yelling), but they usually make up within a day or two
Dani helps cover for Justin when he sneaks out, and he does the same for her, though Justin insists she’s “too young” to be sneaking out at all
The twins are always tattling on them and their friends, especially Harley.
Dani gets along crazy good with Justin's girlfriend Gwendolyn, but It wasn't always like that
At first, Dani didn't like Gwendolyn. Not out of jealousy but because of her trust issues. Sasha (Justin's Ex) was toxic to Dani. She claimed they were friends but would often try to control her or make fun of her for her lazy eye and dyslexia, masking it as her "playing around." She was afraid that Gwendolyn would be the same way
It fucked with Dani’s head for a long time. So when Gwendolyn showed up cool, confident and gorgeous, Dani assumed the worst.
Gwendolyn was very hurt that Dani avoided her, anytime she tried to make a conversation with her Dani would grab her stuff and lock herself in her room untill she left
If Gwendolyn complimented her outfit, Dani would get suspicious, thinking she was mocking her and go change. Gwendolyn noticed and would ask her why she changed because she looked good and Dani would just stay quiet
During a school assignment, Gwendolyn offered to help Dani with her reading and Dani snapped “I don’t need your pity Reese"
It took three months into Gwendolyn and Justin's relationship for Dani to realize that Gwendolyn was just trying to get to know her
The turning point came when Gwendolyn stood up to Sasha at a party for mocking Dani in front of others. Gwendolyn got in Sasha’s face “You don’t talk to her like that ever again.”
To Dani's shock, Sasha and her girls backed off
That's when Dani started opening up to her
Justin was over the moon when he found out two of his favorite girls were getting along now.
The girls team up to tease Justin all the time. He hates it but the happiness that there friends completely outweighs that
Dani hates Justin's gang. She really feels like he's only an asshole to other kids because of them
She knows better then to tell him tho because last time she did, he yelled at her in ways he never did befor. She never wants to expirence that again
