“Yeah I know it looks a little itchy, but makes a good seat. Looks like you could use some fresh air anyways.“
After gesturing at Andrew to climb in the trailer, Clint jumped up into the drivers seat of the tractor and turned it on. It had actually been a while since he’d driven this thing, but that was pretty much because his brother Barney, owner of said tractor, only got it working last week.
“You ever been on a hayride before?”
Not that was exactly the point of this little excursion. No, Clint just forgot to bring in a trailer full of pumpkins for the fall get together. Apparently you couldn’t have a fall get together without pumpkins. Clint actually found the whole thing kinda silly, but who was he to argue with the woman of the house. How Barney was still in one piece Clint had no idea.
Ah well. His newest take home kid looked like he wasn’t having the best of times. A break would probably suit him well and Clint could get a helping hand.
